SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2018 21 COMMON CULTUREMANAGEMENT AND LEAN TRANSFORMATION We initiated Common Culture and Lean Transformation processes in order to realise the vision of our company and strengthen sustainability management. As part of Common Culture Management, we implemented “Dynamic Balance Culture” project in 2017 with the purpose of integrating sustainability into corporate culture. Due to the fact of suppliers being among the main stakeholders with whom we connected as part of Dynamic Balance Culture project, we started “Constitution for Stakeholders and Common Culture Project” initiative as of the end of 2018. The purpose of the project is to redefine and strengthen a common culture which supports our vision, mission and strategy as well as the commitment of our employees; is taken by all our employees and executives into consideration during their approaches and actions; and acts as a reference to common values and cultural principles that will carry our company to the future. Our starting point for cultural transformation was to decipher our existing culture and define our ideal culture. Workshops were organised, surveys were conducted and the results were disclosed within the company. The most critical factor in enabling us to transform the paradigms, perceptions and behaviour models constituting our existing culture was the engagement of our employees in the process of describing the present and the future. During these works, we have come to realise our strengths that we need to protect as our muscles, but we have also observed that certain aspects were emerging which did not conform to our company culture and goals and support the future we want to create for ourselves. “Our Values” defining our common beliefs and assumptions and “Our Cultural Principles” enabling us to realise our values were created to correspond to the factors we need to protect, leave behind and gain within our existing culture. The definition of our ideal culture emerged as Dynamic Balance. Dynamic Balance is our most important road map to guide us through each step we are going to take towards realising our vision and strategies. This culture will lay in the foundation of all our decisions, actions and behaviours that determine where, how and in which way we are going to go. Dynamic Balance will enable us to work in a positive environment full of trust by gathering us around a common meaning and purpose and help us on the path to a strong future. We initiated Lean Transformation process to use our resources in the most effective way and enable efficiency while working towards strategic goals of our company. We have the goal to improve and simplify the work processes in all the departments of the company and obtain a higher quality production with less time and energy and with more qualified human resources by reorganising our resources. Lean Transformation also contributes to the adoption of the company vision by all employees and the Common Culture Management. In the following period, we will continue with this program which was initiated by the Lean Transformation teams composed of 60 employees. We initiated Common Culture and Lean Transformation processes in order to realise our vision and strengthen sustainability management.
