SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2018 67 In order to strengthen communication between employees, we organize events which enable them to socialize off the job. Since 2016, we have increased our efficiency by decreasing employees’ office dependency rate through connected employee platform digital application FOCep and we continuously develop this application by adding new features. Thanks to the application, employees are able to access work anytime and anywhere. As of 2018, more than 6,000 employees have started to work via FOCep. We are decreasing individual automobile use with the employee service tracking put into practice in 2019. Dialogue with Employees We continue providing means of communication to our employees to enable them get information about recent developments in the company and have direct contact with the Senior Management to maintain effective communication. Hence, we use channels such as Open Door Meetings, Leadership Meetings, Intranet Portal Communications, General Manager’s message bulletin, in-house events, Aramızda magazine, Aramızda TV, SMS and mass e-mailing communication. In order to strengthen communication between employees, we organize events which enable them to socialize off the job. Sport clubs established through volunteer initiations and with institutional structures contribute employees in terms of their own personal development and social lives while improving their communications with their teammates. This clubs which operate with the sponsorships of senior management play an important role in maintaining employee motivation and health by making sport a lifestyle. SUPPORTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP Innovation is the key for us to develop tools that will enable competitive advantages and facilitate realisation of our strategic material issues. We have the goal to offer innovative products and services by giving creativity the utmost importance in all our business processes. We continue our activities with Innovation Committee, established in 2016 with the purpose of creating in-house entrepreneurs and supporting the emergence of new initiatives. FİKİRHANE (IDEA FACTORY) Established with the purpose of supporting innovation, Fikirhane is an active platform working to collect ideas about existing products, services, processes or business models. Internal entrepreneurs are able to mature their ideas about the future and realise these on this platform. Ideas that are conveyed to Fikirhane Suggestion System may be realised by the related departments and the person who made the suggestion may be awarded with a part of the possessions obtained through implemented ideas. We have shared TRY 4.3 million profit obtained through projects that were implemented in the last three years as a result of the suggestions of our employees with 6,403 employees. Our support for the in-house entrepreneurs bore fruits and Rezervis project was commercialised.
