16 At Ford Otosan, we grow each year and contribute to the development of automotive sector in line with our vision to become the most valuable and most preferred industrial company in Turkey. The development of the sector creates an impact on strengthening local economy as well creating a multiplier effect in other associated sectors. We carry out our operations and regulate our stakeholder relations with a corporate governance approach based on transparency and accountability. We work with an integrated sustainability approach in order to create value in all fields, including work ethics to social responsibility, digital transformation, environmental responsibility, etc. We follow global trends as part of sustainability management and strengthen our work processes against risks. Corporate Governance In order to reach our company’s strategic goals, we strengthen conformance to corporate principles and publish our progress each year through the Declaration for Compliance with the Principles of the Corporate Governance. The Board of Directors, the highest governing body of the company, consists of a total of 14 members, including two independent members. There are three women members in the Board of Directors. The President and General Manager positions are assigned to two separate executives. 12 members of the Board of Directors are not responsible from execution duties. Duty term of members is 12 months. Senior management consists of a total of 25 managers, 23 of which are local.
