SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2018 59 Diversity and Inclusion We have the goal to offer our employees an inclusive work environment based on equal opportunity while respecting differences and ethical values. Different backgrounds, ideas, experiences and perspectives only make us stronger and enable us to develop a truly cooperative workplace. We place the right candidate to the right position in the right time by observing equal opportunity as a principle and not permitting any kind of discrimination in our recruiting processes. With our Equal Opportunity and Diversity Strategy, we focus on treating all stakeholders, particularly our employees, in a fair and unprejudiced manner and protecting human dignity. We put forth our support for gender equality as signatories of United Nations Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and Declaration on Equality at Work. One of the biggest challenges in diversity emerges in the subject of employment of women. We have the goal to have one woman candidate for every two candidates in our recruitment processes. We have the goal to increase the number of woman employees and executives. Only 15% of our employees are women. With an increase of 10% compared to last year, women constitute 23% of the Board of Directors and 15% of the executives.
